The body’s largest organ is the skin, which acts as a shield between the body and the thousands of foreign substances that can damage it.  The environment we live in contains pollutants that can easily harm the body and even kill us if allowed to gain entry.  The skin reacts to these harmful elements and is our first line of defense.

Grandma had a real pet peeve about pillowcases and blamed many common skin irritations and blemishes on dirty pillowcases.  When you spend six to eight hours rubbing your face on a piece of cloth, you are bound to slough off dead skin and other residues that may contain bacteria.

You also need to avoid as many processed foods as you can and eat fruits and vegetables and make sure to get enough fats into your diet, specifically avocados and coconut oil.

Your acne may also be a result of an allergy so you need to be tested to determine if there are any possible allergens that may be causing your acne, such as gluten or dairy.

One of Grandma’s Remedies to Cure Acne:

Items Needed:

  1. Honey
  2. Aloe Vera

Instructions:

Mix about a dime size of honey with about a dime size of aloe Vera. Apply to any acne area before bed. It will remain moist, so you can’t use during the day.

The honey acts as an antibiotic and the aloe Vera allows it to penetrate the skin where your cyst is. In the morning it will become greatly reduced and should look much better by the next night!
